Project Manager, Acquisition Marketing, Digital Booking Experience

The Acquisitions Marketing Booking team is responsible for creating the best User Experience for prospective new cardmembers throughout the online application process. The Project Manager role is primarily responsible for UX design and project delivery for the new-customer online credit card application in order to provide a best-in class-digital customer experience. It will also require managing a continuous backlog of smaller requests that will require communication with Acquisition business partners and technology to assess scope and priority. The role requires strong people leadership across areas including marketing, customer service, business technology, legal and third party agencies. This individual needs to have a strong focus on delivering results to meet business goals and deadlines, a strong desire to understand new emerging technologies and exposure to working using agile principles.More specifically, the chosen candidate will:
  • Serve as liaison between Business Partners, external creative agencies in order to provide digital thought leadership and lead team through project lifecycle (creation of project proposal, requirements gathering, usability testing, design feedback & support, build, test support & coordination and post-install defect resolution)
  • Partner closely with technology to answer questions and prioritize features and functionality
  • Ensure all questions/issues/legal and risk requirements are resolved prior to release
  • Participate in Agile sessions in order to develop detailed user stories and gather requirements for webpage and App enhancements and new functionality
  • Communicate with Sr. Management to report progress, resolve conflicts, achieve goals
  • Reach delivery targets and deliver high quality products within budget and on-time
  • Provide digital and UX thought leadership and ensure cohesive customer experience through pre-booking, booking and post-booking
  • Work diligently to ensure all online style guide and brand guidelines are followed throughout design process
  • Research and participate in knowledge shares with teammates to keep team well-informed of digital competitive landscape, online trends and UX best practices
  • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
Required Skills/ Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years successfully managing large cross-functional projects
  • 3+ years of digital experience
  • 5+ years of overall work experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to apply creative and strategic solutions to solve business challenges, to develop new ideas and to gain buy-in
  • Creative thinker willing to consider various solutions to a problem
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Exposure to Agile development process including user story creation/grooming a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint presentation development and Excel
  • Proven passion for digital UX
  • Ability to manage agency/ external vendor partners
  • Understanding of financial services industry a plus
