Job Description
Project Manager, Collections Strategies

JOB: Discover Products Inc. seeks a Project Manager, Collections Strategies, in Riverwoods, Illinois to manage and develop collection strategies. Categorize delinquent accounts for further collection actions and optimize treatment and operations to prevent charge off and improve collected amount. Identify relationship between key business drivers and overall impact on risk and reward tradeoffs. Optimize business return under business constraints by using statistical methodologies and data mining techniques. Develop collection strategies to reduce roll rates, charge off rates and improve the business profit. Design and implement challenger tests to explore opportunities of improving current strategies. Work closely with implementation team to ensure the strategies are implemented accurately and are running as designed Establish and maintain effective performance tracking ensuring that strategies are performing as expected and provide recommendations of changes in a timely manner. Present findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management. Provide ad hoc analytical supports to business partners and senior management.
Skills
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative field, or equivalent and 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation developing business strategies and performing statistical analysis of risk management and credit bureau common data; translating analysis into business solutions and utilizing advanced tools and skills such as data mining, SAS, SQL programming and MsOffice (Word, Excel, Visio).
