The Portfolio Marketing team is responsible for the engagement of existing cardmembers through a wide variety of marketing programs and experiences that drive card usage, receivables growth, and overall customer engagement/satisfaction. This role will manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns that will entail customer targeting, segmentation, creative management, campaign execution, and performance optimization. This role will team up with a cross functional team across marketing, analytics, finance, customer service, consumer insights, and legal to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive deeper customer engagement. Candidates should have a customer first mindset, strategic thought leadership, strong project management, problem solving and campaign execution skills to develop and enhance customer experiences across multiple channels. Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage customer-centric marketing strategies and experiences across channels to drive and retain card preference and accelerate loan growth for high value card members
  • Execute multi-channel marketing programs (direct mail, email, website, and mobile) from conception through execution, including customer experience, creative development, market research, customer insight, testing strategy, targeting/segmentation, and offer optimization
  • Partner with analytics, finance, consumer insights, customer service, creative team, e-business, legal, and operational teams to gain support and alignment on strategies
  • Ensure that marketing strategies and campaigns meet all legal and compliance guidelines
  • Monitor existing and/or new controls to ensure operational execution of key product features
  • Forecasting, planning and expense management
  • Promotes a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
Required Skills/ Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in Direct/Online consumer marketing or relevant customer experience focused role(s)
  • Digital marketing expertise/experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze data/reporting to monitor/optimize campaign performance and identify actionable enhancement opportunities
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects/teams
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
  • 7+ years experience in Direct/Online consumer marketing or relevant customer experience focused role(s)
  • End to end consumer marketing experience including marketing strategy development and campaign execution
  • Marketing experience across all customer touchpoints including digital, direct mail, phone
  • Prior experience within financial services or credit cards
