Functions as project leader in various operational procedural and system projects to support Distribution/Operations.

Principal Responsibilities – 20%
  • Functions as project leader for any projects assigned by the Business Operations Sr. Manager communicating routinely on the progress and issues encountered.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of action plans and projects with functional as well as cross functional departments to realize identified improvements.
  • Accumulates all documentation related to projects for validation records and reference as required.
Operational – 20%
  • Support QSR documentation and training
  • Support all departments within Distribution/Logistics to enhance efficiency, productivity as well as allow flexibility and growth in a fast paced environment.
  • Assists with Software Validation requirements.
Strategic – 20%
  • Reviews safety reports to confirm compliance, ergonomic improvements and reduction of loss control issues through effective training.
  • Establishes department goals and metrics. Uses productivity data to assess progress and prepares status reports for management.
  • Meet or exceed departmental budgets, cost controls and efficiencies to reduce costs while maximizing productivity where possible.
  • Assist in the design, development, training and integration of system support activities if necessary and Warehouse Management Modules.
  • Provide business support to ensure SOPs, Work Instructions and Training Guides are updated on a regular basis within FDA/GMP and Regulatory requirements to support QSR system needs.
  • Establishes and monitors department budget and adherence to cost controls.
  • Support and sponsor franchise initiatives (i.e. JJOS)
Leadership – 20%
  • Work with local management and Regulatory Affairs on acceptance activities and other related compliance issues to support the efforts of the department.
  • Promote and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and compliance, and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives and activities.
  • Consistently enforce employee compliance, including attendance at training programs, and promptly report any non-compliance to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Employee education and training in QSR and needs assessment.
  • Responsible for proactive personnel management. Set standards of performance for assessment, feedback, documentation controls, training/education, clean/conducive environment while promoting positive morale.
  • Assigns projects and evaluates resource allocation to determine appropriate staffing levels.
Other – 20%
  • Special project and/or travel as needed or as assigned by DC Operation Manager or Sr. Staff within Distribution-US.
  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one’s job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
  • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor, Compliance, or Sr. Staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Facilitate communication to associates. Create a Credo based environment with their direct reports. Ensure correct policies and guidelines are followed to maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies (Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards, etc.). Maintain a safe environment anticipating and solving emerging situations.

  • Associates required and work experience which should include 4 years of progressive work experience in a Logistics or Distribution environment.
  • Minimum two years related experience using ERP systems software and Warehousing Modules and RF Scanning.
  • Two years DSI or RF software experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coping and interpersonal skills to motivate staff as necessary.
  • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Flow Charter, Microsoft Project, JDE World Writer, Report Writer etc.
  • Must be able to create presentations and sell concepts and ideas.
  • Experience with Report Writing tools such as Showcase or Tableau is preferred.
  • Previous experience with the SDLC is required.
  • Proven experience with communicating projects between Business and IT.
  • Up to 10% travel, domestic and international is required.
