Current Need

The Enterprise Workflow Solutions (EWS) organization has a need for a Product Management Operations Manager, who will enable the executive leadership team to work most efficiently and effectively.  The EWS Product Management Operations Manager is a highly-important and facilitative role that ensures the seamless operation of EWS, directing and managing all organizational and operational engagements.  The ideal candidate must have extremely strong creative and communication skills, as well as a solid working understanding of business and financial fundamentals.

 

The Product Management Operations Manager will work closely with the EWS senior leadership team to manage all organizational operations and communications efforts, develop and lead operational processes, and to facilitate and drive business development opportunities.  The Product Management Operations Manager will manage leadership engagement, develop executive presentations, facilitate planning, lead operational forums and processes, and support new business development efforts.

 

As the ‘trusted orchestrator’, the role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.  The Product Management Operations Manager will gain highly valuable skills enabling him or her to more readily attain a general management perspective that encompasses the strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the organization.



Position Description

  • Work closely and partner with EWS leadership team, including Senior VP, VP’s, Executive Directors, and Directors.
  • Coordinate and manage all EWS organizational engagements, including staff meetings, all-hands meetings, conference attendance, etc.  Develop an overall strategy for organizational engagement opportunities, create and manage to an ongoing cadence and timeline, identify session charters and agendas, and manage session logistics, action items, and follow-up. 
  • Support new business development efforts, including supporting business case creation, conduct customer and market analysis, strategic plan creation, etc.  Partner with internal stakeholders and support teams such as Finance, Business Performance, and Corporate Strategy to coordinate and facilitate resources to meet business development and strategic objectives.
  • Help to develop and to lead new business and operational processes.  Identify opportunities for improvements in existing methodologies, processes, and tools, and lead efforts to remedy.
  • Create and publish all executive and organizational communications, including newsletters, team communications, organizational announcements, job descriptions, etc.  Develop a monthly newsletter communication highlighting organizational successes.  Engage functional teams to identify key initiatives, progress, and successes in order to construct communications.  Partner closely with Marketing and with leadership team to write and publish organizational announcements and communications.
  • Create all EWS executive presentations and communications.  Work closely with EWS executive leadership to develop Power Point presentations representing the EWS organization to both internal and external stakeholders and audiences.  Partner across EWS and EIS to gather required content, coordinate with other contributors, and to ensure stakeholder approvals.  Work closely with EIS Marketing as required to complete assignments.
  • Assist in the creation of business cases and identifying market opportunities.  Partner with senior leadership and finance organization to assist in the identification of market opportunities, including coordinating and interpreting business cases, market forecasts, etc.  Additionally, manage annual long range strategic planning and budgeting efforts for the EWS organization.
  • Represent EWS organization in all combined and cross- business unit and corporate communication and engagement efforts.  Manage and coordinate all EWS input and content for broader all-hands sessions, strategic and long-term planning efforts, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate all EWS employee engagement efforts and programs, including employee recognition programs, training efforts, leadership roundtable/town hall forums, and employee surveys.
  • Partner with all EWS functional teams and shared support organizations, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Administrative Staff, etc. to complete goals and tasks.  Create effective working relationships with supporting teams to ensure quality partnership and timeline diligence is maintained.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned or apparent.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years experience, at least three of which is in project management or process improvement full-time

 

 

Critical Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, etc.

  • Creative and business writing expertise.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong planning and project management abilities, ability to execute within established timelines.

  • Solid business and financial acumen, working knowledge of finance and financial planning fundamentals.

  • Effective communicator.  Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.



Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in Healthcare IT is preferred.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to juggle different tasks, effectively balance priorities, and be accepting of ambiguity.  Ability to work independently and decisive.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above.

  • High level of analytical, planning, and organizational ability.

  • Financial experience a plus.
  • Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships.

  • Will require less than 10% travel.

 


Education

  • 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.

Certifications/Licensure

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
