This position is critical to the team that is responsible for defining and implementing Northstar's product roadmap and enhancements through well-defined and thought out projects. The position reports directly to SVP Product Development and working closely with Northstar organization. The goal is help administer and support the large volume of project and work requests being funneled through the Digital Media Department.
The role provides project related services to support each business unit and division within the organization. It may at times include supporting, directly project managing or fulfilling the role of a Technical Product Specialist for specific projects based on business needs. The position provides continuous management support by reviewing company projects, programs and development requests to ensure best practices are being followed in the areas of governance, prioritization, processes, and practices. The position will administer and maintain various project tracking tools.
The role is responsible for alignment of project and daily work activities to meet corporate strategy. Review of project priorities and work requests is essential to ensure strategy alignment, KPI's and that benefits are being realized by the organization. The role is tasked with equipping the organization with methodologies, standards, documentation, reporting and standard tools to enable Technical Product Specialists, Product Managers and Project Managers to better deliver projects. The goal is to increase the capability of the organization through good practices and a central point of contact for the team to facilitate project priorities across a broad area of brands and business units.
