The Behavioral Health Center is a 74-bed psychiatric hospital in Idaho Falls providing mental-health services. Part of nearby Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, we are located on a separate campus to provide for the patient's greatest level of privacy, comfort, and individual care. Affiliation with EIRMC gives us access to the most current and comprehensive medical services available in the region.
*Conducts psychological assessments and evaluations necessary to determine a patient's specific abilities and needs.
*Prepares reports synthesizing results from various tests and provides recommendations for treatment.
*Provides input into the development of individualized treatment plans.
*Participates in patient treatment planning and review conferences.
*Conducts individual, group and family therapy as assigned.
*Conducts specialized groups as assigned.
*Provides consults to medical floors as needed.
*Adheres to hospital policies & demonstrates compliance with hospital code of Ethics.
Education: Requires a Ph.D. degree in psychology from an accredited college or university, with focus in neuropsychology.
Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Idaho is required.
