Professionals in PwC Public Sector LLP may be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet related eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The Public Sector Practice Contracts team is responsible for performing critical contract formation and administration functions for the PwC Washington Federal Practice.

The Subcontracts team focuses on critical subcontract formation and administration functions for the PwC Washington Federal Practice.

Interaction is with firm client service partners/principals and staff, Risk Management, and other key Operations organizations such as the Office of the General Counsel, Ethics & Compliance, Finance, and Security to ensure the firm fully understands its contractual obligations to other parties and is properly managing and executing its subcontracts within the firm's standard risk management protocols.

Focus will be on the identification, avoidance, and mitigation of contract risk during the review and negotiation of the firm's legal agreements arising from its work with the United States Government.

The Subcontracts team is the primary contractual point of contact with all organizations that may be providing services to PwC under its U.S. Government contracts.

Position/Program Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship


Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5 years of experience as a contracts professional in the Federal government marketplace


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree


Certification(s) Preferred: Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification or an equivalent certification Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven knowledge of the following: Federal government contracts and subcontracts; electronic proposals; public sector contract file systems; government contract audits and close-outs.
Demonstrates experience working with large and complex contracts pertaining to Subcontractors and consultants/vendors to PwC (firm) where the firm is the Prime contractor to the Federal government, including knowledge of drafting contractual documents, terms and conditions in accordance with firm policy, terms found in the prime contracts and the FAR and GSA schedule acquisition methods, with coordination with Office of the General Counsel, Security, Risk Management, Procurement.
Demonstrates experience maintaining and administering subcontract agreements throughout the contractual period of performance and creating/updating excel spreadsheets detailing all active subcontracts, and maintaining formal contract records and related.

Demonstrates research skills pertaining to the public sector marketplace and active/inactive Federal government contracts. Assists with government audits, contract close-outs and responds to request for information in the possession of the Federal government contracts department.
A proven record of success as an individual contributor that has knowledge of Federal and subcontracts that includes facilitating the execution and distribution of subcontract agreements; reviewing solicitation, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts in accordance with federal contract negotiation and solicitation review guidance.


Skills Preferred:

A proven record of success interfacing with Subcontractors and consultants/vendors related to prime contracts for the U.S. Government, including senior-level officials and internal Firm leadership, as well as the ability to relay basic contract information and administration issues.
A proven record of success teaming with, and supporting the efforts of, Contracts Department Management, client service professionals, legal, compliance, finance, and security functions.
A proven record of success and thorough skill levels, with the management of contracts and subcontracts so that they are readily accessible, maintained, and stored physically and electronically in accordance with Federal Government and firm records retention policies.
Demonstrates a proven, thorough ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently within a fast-paced environment, including a proven record of success with the following:
-Effective customer service orientation and organization skills while paying close attention to detail
-Utilization of proactive listening and interpersonal skills to maintain a high level of productivity in an environment that places high priority upon success-driven teamwork
-Verbal and written communications expressed in a clear and concise manner, including the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite to draft and review documents, analyze data, and prepare related presentations.
