**Job Description:** RSA is looking for an experienced, self-starting, personable, and detail-oriented Analyst Relations and Public Relations Manager. This team member will become a go-to for developing and executing media, industry analyst, partner and industry influencer programs to raise awareness of and preference for RSA. With RSA's award-winning cybersecurity solutions, organizations can effectively detect and respond to advanced attacks; manage user identities and access; and, reduce business risk, fraud and cybercrime. **Analyst Relations and Public Relations Manager** **Bedford, MA** Reporting into the Senior Director of Communications, the candidate will work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, partner marketing and Sales. The successful candidate is an expert at translating nuanced, complex concepts into broadly digestible content, and can exercise sound judgment while acting quickly. This person embraces technology and is motivated by a dynamic, highly creative culture where the challenge of breaking new ground is welcome. The candidate must possess media/analyst experience/relationships, be a strong writer and storyteller, grasp technically deep topics and demonstrate a bias for action, attention to details and results. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Security enterprise software space with functional expertise in public relations and industry analyst relations. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Tactically execute an integrated and multi-faceted global communications plan for products, events, industry collaboration and more + Develop relationships with influential industry analysts including those at Gartner, IDC, Forrester and smaller boutique firms; Influence research agendas toward published research that support RSAs objectives + Pitch reporters, analysts, and influencers regarding news announcements, and develop ongoing pitches to reporters in between major company news + Write press materials including tactical plans, press releases, fact sheets, etc. + Effectively liaise with RSA business units' products and marketing groups to understand and translate business goals into strategic AR, PR and thought leadership programs + Counsel stakeholders on strategy, plans and issues management related to influencing the analyst and press communities + Be well-versed on the current traditional and social media environment as it relates to RSAs business as well as the broader industry + Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and other potential news triggers, and prepared to respond to analyst and journalist inquiries + Respond to breaking news and develop an effective rapid response articulating RSA’s POV with spokespeople; coach and prep spokespeople and go on background as required + Develop metrics for measuring communication effectiveness, and use the data to drive decision making + Provide direction for theater leaders in developing communication strategies and understanding current market and business issues **Required Experience and Skills:** + Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, communications, marketing, journalism, business or comparable discipline + 6 - 8 years' experience in strategic communications, public relations and analyst relations + 3+ years of experience gained working directly with cyber security products; enterprise tech background preferred + Relationships with top tier business & technology press and industry analysts + Strong writing and editing skills; able to turn complex messages into crisp messaging + Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement media plans + Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced news environment, and strong project and business management skills + Strong, persuasive communication skills enabling the ability to influence at all levels + Relationship builder; dynamic, proactive, respected; good listener; values input and stimulates candid dialogue; positive attitude and a sense of humor + Action oriented, positive, A+ player who is a self-starter and builds a highly motivational environment around themselves + Uncompromising ethics and integrity + Travel of approximately 25% anticipated **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
