Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to resolve all inventory discrepancies and process inaccuracies. This effort contributes to successful inventory audits of the facility and achieving or exceeding performance targets. The QA Team Member performs routine cycle counts of the inventory to ensure the system quantity and physical quantity of product is correct. The team member is responsible for researching and reporting inventory differences over a certain threshold to corporate and/or to the QA Coach. The QA Team Member is also responsible for performing process audits of the entire facility. Results of these audits alert and indicate if Operations Team Members are performing tasks incorrectly.



II. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Research inventory discrepancies and resolve (e.g., free astray product)

Report and contact Corporate if inventory gain or loss is over a certain threshold (holding account)

Resolve cancelled picks (product not picked for shipping that was allocated) in the system

Audit processes across the facility to ensure correct process is being utilized by Operations Team Members; record inaccuracies and report to Operations Coach

Perform scheduled cycle count of product in the facility; perform recount of product when inventory differences occur

Audit receiving packets daily/weekly to ensure all information is correct and there are no discrepancies

III. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Place and release location holds in the system (places product on hold so it cannot be picked for shipping)

Learn new skills to assist in other QA area

Qualifications :

Demonstrated adherence to safety requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic math and reading comprehension

Approaches change optimistically; adjusts quickly and proficiently to changing work environments

Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving

Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously while still being detail-oriented

Copes positively in high-stress work environment

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Strong communication and people skills

Effectively prioritizes work and possesses time management skills

Highly motivated to Operation's success; goal-oriented

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with distribution center operations

Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe's DMS system
