Individual will be responsible for supporting the QC Microbiology product testing team. This position will be Tuesday through Saturday shift.
-perform routine testing including bioburden, endotoxin and additional testing related to release of product
-Reviews GMP data for accuracy and completeness in area of responsibilities
-Assigned to projects and teams in area of responsibility
-Participates in investigation, root cause determination and corrective and preventive planning
-Represents area as SME on cross functional teams, investigation teams and in audits
-Ensures projects are completed on schedule and able to meet department defined metrics.
-Qualified candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years or MS in Microbiology or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Understanding and applied knowledge of cGMP in biopharmaceutical environment specifically in microbiological capacity
-Experience in writing investigations, SOPs, reports, CAPAs and other quality records
This position will be in laboratory of QC Microbiology physica and mental requirements consistent with expected responsibilities and qualifications listed above.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
-May be required to enter cleanroom environment
-Tuesday through Saturday shift
