The Johnson & Johnson Family of Diabetes Solutions Companies is recruiting for a QC Inspector to be located in West Chester, PA.

The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring company products are in compliance with internal and external specifications by performing a variety of routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations by performing varied product inspections, generally of finished goods, components, incoming materials or new products, by observing, measuring and recording data. The QC inspector will compare inspection results to defined requirements or specifications and documents differences found, accepts or rejects items or reroutes for rework based on established guidelines and knowledge of production techniques, compiles and inputs data and documents findings. S/he will then report rework/reject to proper department, confer with other departments regarding quality standards, identifies workmanship defects and recommends corrective action, and ensure proper disposition of defective products.
The QC Inspector will:
A minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
A basic understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA QSR’s, ISO 13485:2003 is strongly preferred.
Experience in a regulated work environment preferred.
The ability to read and interpret drawings and other specifications is required.
Inspection experience is preferred.
Must be able to work with general supervision, partner with appropriate departments, and communicate effectively.
