Role Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control
Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Pasadena, TX facility. This site
manufactures chemical additives for the oil & gas and refining industries. The
Quality Control Laboratory Technician role is responsible for sample
management, quality inspection, and manufacturing support.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Candidate must be able to work independently and in ateam environment; this person will interface with the Quality Control teamand the Manufacturing plant

+ Coordinate, analyze, perform, and monitor qualitycontrol and product assurance testing to help ensure products meet orexceed quality and reliability standards

+ Candidate will also generate certificate of analysisand approve all raw materials

+ Resolves less complex problems immediately, while, morecomplex problems are typically assigned to next level

+ Handles special projects, as assigned

+ Works under limited supervision

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of experienceas Quality Control Laboratory Technician OR Associate's degree in ChemicalTechnology, or equivalent, with 1+ years of experience as a QualityControl Laboratory Technician

+ Must have knowledge of laboratory analytical testingprocedures and specific lab equipment required to perform quality testing

+ Must be able to work a 12 hoursrotating Dupont Schedule

+ Must be able to prioritize and multitask

+ Ability to communicate well individually and in teamatmosphere

+ Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

+ Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

+ Good verbal and writing skills

+ Language: English

+ Must be able to work a 12 hoursrotating Dupont Schedule

+ Must be authorized to work in the USwithout sponsorship

+ Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
