The Design Quality Engineer I
- New Product Development should excel in an environment that embraces
teamwork, change, risk-based decision-making and flexibility. This individual
will work in a design team setting. They will also:
design control activities for new product development efforts.
develop product specifications and design/execute design verification and
risk assessment; inspection methodology and acceptance criteria for
inspection sample plans and conduct audits of new suppliers as part of the

departments such as R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Marketing.

- An Advanced Degree in a
- A minimum of 1 year (work, internship,
co-op, etc.) of experience is preferred. Medical Device and/or
Pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Quality engineering experience
- Experience conducting
Process/Design Failure Mode Effects and Analysis
- Mechanical product
- Experience with Blueprint
reading/literacy including GD&T
- Familiarity with
inspection methods and techniques
- Knowledge of the QSR, Design Controls, and ISO quality
- Process Excellence/Lean
