A Quality Manager job in Houston, Texas is available through Modis. You will need a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of five years' experience in Modular Construction. The Quality Manager will manage the Modular Program, oversee inspections, and maintain data and all certifications. Must be Bilingual, Spanish speaking.

Quality Manager job responsibilities include:

Renewing the states' license for approved manufacturer (Louisiana, Tennessee, California, Colorado, etc.)
Monthly Report for each applicable state that Company is certified to manufacture.
Update and maintain the pWPS (Pre-qualified Welding Procedures AWS D1.1), Welders Certification ( AWS D1.1) and Welders Certification for Canada (W47.1)
Responsible for CSA, CWB, A660 Audits
Responsible for coordinating Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) final inspections with clients, projects' final inspection procedure/ checklist and coordinating third party plant inspections.
Structural, fit & finish, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.
Ensuring all equipment is calibrated correctly. (E.g. Voltmeter, plumbing gauges, Hi-pot machine, paint thickness gauges, anchor profile gauges, welding machines, etc.)
Understanding Coating procedures. (E.g. Anchor Profile, PA2 readings)
Responsible for creating an Equipment and Installation Manual and final documentation for each project.
Attend production and project meetings.


BS in Mechanical Engineering
5 years Modular Building experience required
Experience with AutoCAD, BIM or Revit
Bilingual,Spanish speaking
