Quality Technician

¿ Ability to read, understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures as well as other policies and procedures
¿ Updates and maintains information in BPCS and the BPCS Supplier Quality Module
¿ Conducts tests as detailed in protocols
¿ Conduct FAE testing that requires higher skill level measuring or testing techniques
¿ Performs inspections using computer aided inspection and measuring equipment such as a CMM, RAM Visual System and optical comparator (for complex measurements requiring cutting and/or advanced knowledge of programming equipment).
¿ Performs data collection to provide performance information on received raw material and finished goods component issues
¿ Interprets certifications, charts and data from suppliers to verify conformance to drawings and specifications
¿ Coordinates inspection results with suppliers (other Dentsply Sirona divisions and 3rd party suppliers)
¿ Supports development of quality inspection techniques for components
¿ Reviews and approves specification agreement letters
¿ May be responsible for testing product to support the investigation for potentially serious complaints
¿ Performs product investigations by developing and performing tests and reporting results
¿ Acts as a lead-auditor in conducting internal audits
¿ Performs inspection of returned goods
¿ Liaison with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and R&D on component quality issues
¿ Assists in training associates in measuring techniques, drawing interpretations, and other quality principles
¿ Supports R&D with new product design and competitor evaluations, including patent infringements
¿ UsesVisual Standards and testing for Tip/Die Qualification
¿ Initiates and implements actions outlined in subsequent reports from testing protocols
¿ Coordinates corrective action efforts with material control, manufacturing and R&D on product quality issues
