Quality Technician I

- Perform mechanical testing such as Tensile, Shear, Fatigue, Installation Force, Recess Torque, etc
- Preparation of test cards once the testing is concluded
-Prepares test data sheet accurately after performing mechanical testing on parts
-Performs minor maintenance and repair on equipment
- Maintains procedures and specifications to comply with company and customers requirements
-Maintain laboratory, inspection, and calibration records
-Perform all required inspections, tests or calibration in a timely manner
-Perform other tasks as needed to support Quality and customer needs
-Active participation in Nadcap and customer audits
-Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment
-Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions
-Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to supervisor or manager

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Demonstrates initiative in problem solving
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to use measuring devises such as calipers and micrometers
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift/move up to 30 lbs (may not exceed per EHS Policies and Procedures)
