*According to the level of experience and under direct supervision, will perform radiology procedures provided by the Department as outlined in the Radiology Department's Policy and Procedure Manual. *May assist with positioning the patient, setting up the equipment and developing the exposed radiographs.
*Operates standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, body section radiography and surgical radiographic procedures.
*Maintains records of radiological examinations as well as files of reports and radiographs.
*Maintains inventory and equipment for area of primary responsibility with guidance and support from the staff, as needed.
*Assists with assigned administrative tasks and maintains clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
*Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology Technology program.
