Position Summary:
This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza. Under the supervision of the radiologist and radiology leadership, performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols for all patients. Performs sterile technique and set up of rooms for invasive procedures. Administers contrast and handles medications used for invasive procedures. Responsible for maintaining expert technical skills while following ALARA standards. Provide an excellent patient experience with quality diagnostic results. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Current certification in ARRT in Radiology (R) required. Current BLS required.

Completion of a Radiology Technology training program required.

Previous hospital experience preferred.

Degree of supervision required:
Involves general guidance and direction by the Radiology Supervisor and leadership. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
