Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) is one of the company’s four main divisions. WIM businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.
Wells Fargo's Wealth Management Group (WMG) provides a wide variety of financial services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Within WMG, Investment and Fiduciary Services (IFS) provides those services in a fiduciary capacity such as trustee, executor or agent. In addition to managing IFS clients’ financial assets, like stocks and bonds, IFS also manages clients’ real estate assets. These assets range in type from single family homes, apartment buildings, retail and commercial properties, to industrial buildings, farms, ranches, and vacant land.
On a regular basis:
Support Real Estate Asset Managers (AMs), Real Estate Advisory Specialist’s (REAS’s) and/or Real Estate Investment Consultants (REIC’s) with their asset management, property management, client relationship management, and new business development duties. Support AM’s, REAS’s and REIC’s with their real estate transactional activities such as sales, acquisitions, exchanges and leasing. Generate and monitor compliance reports. Process monthly reports from third party property managers. Process financial transactions related to the real estate transactional activities noted above.
On a daily basis:
Resolve customer service issues both internally and externally. Prepare preliminary client correspondence and presentation materials. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Communicate with external vendors regarding client service requests. Provide basic administrative support to the AM’s, REAS’s and/or REIC’s such as phone coverage, calendar maintenance and email communication.
This position will be located in New York. At times of heavy workload, may support other offsite offices on a temporary basis. Periodic travel may be required. Candidate must be able to travel to and ambulate through both ADA and non-ADA compliant environments such as, but not limited to, clients’ private residences.
Candidate must have their own car or the ability to rent a car at employer expense and through an employer-approved vendor, for possible employer-approved travel; personal car use will be reimbursed by the employer pursuant to employer guidelines.
Candidate must be able to lift (up to 6 feet above floor level) and move (up to 20 lateral feet) objects that are equivalent in size and weight to banker boxes. Banker boxes are approximately 18”x 18” x 24” and can weigh up to 30-40 lbs.
