Adecco Direct Placement is hiring a Real Estate Processor II with experience efficiently and accurately processing mortgage loans applications in a fast paced environment. Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 + years mortgage lending experience in positions such as Processor, Underwriter, Loan Officer, or Funder.
Must maintain registration as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and regularly provide this unique MLO registration number to all consumers as part of their daily work in mortgage lending.
Excellent knowledge of real estate loan processes, such as title, escrow, appraisals and industry terminology. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work independently while being organized and attentive to details. Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate income from various sources such as personal and corporate tax returns, W-2's, pay stubs and related forms.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact effectively with coworkers, understand and follow policies and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
Working knowledge of real estate processing software, MS Word, and Excel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Thoroughly reviews applications upon receipt, updates origination system and makes notes in file per established procedures. Contacts applicants within established timelines to verify loan terms, answer questions and ensure applicant is committed to the loan before ordering appraisal and/or vendor reports. Documents all communications, keeps applicants informed of status and timelines.
Orders vendor reports such as escrow, title, flood, appraisal, and obtains loss-payable endorsements from insurance companies and documentation from homeowner associations. Obtains and verifies information from employers, financial institutions and other third parties.
Completes application checklist and updates computer system as approval conditions and vendor reports are received and contacts applicants or vendors for missing items.
Analyzes vendor reports to ensure compliance with approval conditions and government regulations including review of title report for vesting, liens, taxes or special restrictions, flood report to determine if flood insurance is required, appraisal for completeness and accuracy, to ensure that comparables and adjustments are reasonable and review other items as needed.
Calculates income by reviewing pay stubs, W-2's and/or tax returns, reviews credit bureau reports and ensures income, debts, property value and loan terms are accurately documented in the file and computer system. Transfers data to Freddie Mac Loan Prospector to reconcile LP with origination system and loan file. Discusses complicated income situations (partnership, corporate, multiple investment properties etc.) with Underwriter before finalizing.
Communicates and finalizes rates with members. Prepares and provides members with redisclosures in accordance with regulations. Reviews application package for completeness and forwards fully processed file to Underwriter within established timelines.
Completes the loan process by contacting the member to sign all final documents, coordinates closing with escrow. Communicates obstacles to management and members.
When members are unable to meet pre-approval conditions, discusses the reasons with members promptly and suggests alternatives when applicable.
Resolves member complaints in a professional manner. Promptly notify management of anyunresolved issues. Provides training to less experienced Processors.
Cross-sells products and services and assists in other areas of the department as necessary to ensure quality member service.
Performs necessary steps to ensure BSA/AML compliance to reduce risk to the credit union.
Performs other relevant and related duties as required.
