Position Summary:

An individual who joins our team will be responsible for developing opportunity and outcomes models and tools to support various rebate strategies.

As the Rebate Analytics Advisor, you will be responsible for planning, estimating, forecasting, providing both oversight and day-to-day management, and administration across the full project life-cycle on medium to large size projects.
You’ll be collaborating with and influencing other areas within the company to develop analytic models, methodologies, reports or process changes that support rebate strategy initiatives. The goal is to improve efficiency of CVS Caremark rebate guarantee management, enable data-driven strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities for financial improvements.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering analytic solutions, accessing data, constructing and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses, using SAS, Excel, SQL, Python and
similar tools and developing tools / dashboards to support, manage and report on various rebate strategies.
The successful Advisor will coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance, various departments in Trade and Finance, account teams, and other corporate department as well as manage complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs. Occasional travel may be required.


Required Qualifications:
5 + years’ experience in analytics
2 years of experience in SAS or other statistical and database software

Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience in a position requiring problem solving, problem analysis and creative solutions skills.
Ability to interact with all level of management, including VPs and executives.
Experience in leading and managing a diverse group of direct and/or indirect managers while also providing them coaching and mentoring.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills.
Ability to interact with others in a professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
Ability to appropriately prioritize competing requests to ensure focus on highest impact activities.
Experience with strategy and also managing details.
Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way.
Prior experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry.
Experience writing macros within VBA.
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from executives.

Excel-based modeling.
Experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions.

Experience conducting data analyses using basic and advanced skills in statistics and database management.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, epidemiology, economics or other data related fields preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
