Rebate Modeling Analyst

Position Summary:
As Rebate Modeling Analyst you are responsible for running rebate forecasts and analysis You will also be closely monitoring billed rebates against projections to ensure rebates are maximized. We partner with employees at all levels across multiple departments including finance, pricing, sales, clinical and account management.

Additional Responsibilities of a Rebate Model Analyst Include:
- Creating and maintaining small databases and data tools within Excel and Access.
- Pulling large required data sets from multiple data warehouses to use in analysis or reporting.
- Evaluate proposed changes and interpret how they will affect current contract terms.
- Maintaining current work procedures and verify that they remain within the department’s policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in a financial or otherwise related field.
- 3+ years of Excel experience.
- 1+ years of experience creating financial analysis models or otherwise related work.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL experience
- Data mining experience
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience creating financial analysis and models or related work.
- Self-motivated and track record of working independently and cross-functionally.
- Finance and/or Accounting experience or experience in a technical field.
- Good working knowledge of Access, which can be further developed.
- Self-motivated and track record of working independently and cross-functionally.

Verifiable Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in finance, accounting, economics or a technical field including engineering and computer science highly preferred.
