Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Check-In all vendor deliveries using the appropriate Quality Assurance logs
• Oversees receiving, unloading, and stocking of shipments
• Ability to follow rigorous receiving standards and guidelines
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies
• Store all items in designated storage areas
• Properly label all items
• Rotate all products using the appropriate product rotation methods
• Maintain a clean and neat work station
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Utilize proper food handling procedures and food safety knowledge
• Maintain daily temperature logs
• Daily use of correct PPE for the task assigned
• Assist co-workers in setting up and breaking down stations as designated by the manager
• Sweep and mop the floors
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and cutting boards
• Separate and remove waste and place it in the appropriate receptacle
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by cart
• Understand the proper use of and storage of chemicals used in the location. Be familiar with the chemical MSDS book and its contents.
• Report all injuries immediately to your manager/supervisor

Additional Job Functions:
• Cross-train in other areas as required by your manager
• Work in other areas or departments as needed
• Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the ARAMARK management team

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibility
Required Qualifications:
• Must be able to effectively communicate and understand directions
• Must be able to understand safety rules, ARAMARK Alcohol Regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
• Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks as assigned
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work and succeed in a team environment
• Must complete ServSafe Food Handlers certification
• Basic mathematical skills are required. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Successful completion of the ARAMARK Hourly Food Handlers training within the first 30 days of employment
• Must be willing to follow all ARAMARK Safety Standards

    • Front-of-house
    • Inside kitchen area/dish room and includes interaction with heated equipment, steam, loud noises, chemical products, and other at risk conditions

    Lifting Requirements:
    MEDIUM: Frequent lifting and / or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Objects weighing more than 25 pounds require assistance through use of the buddy system.
