RECENT COLLEGE GRADS WELCOME! Adecco is assisting a localClient andrecruiting for a Chemistry Lab Technician (Chemist, Polymers) to work for the client in Maplewood, MN. This position is for Adecco's large Global Client who makes a variety of products from medical and office supplies and electronic circuitry. Length of W-2 position: 12+ Months contract with possible extension based on Business Need
Experience Level: 1+ Years of experience (Appropriate College Internships Count!)
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Required
Pay Rate: $17.15 / Hour W-2 with Candidate benefits package available

A technician/chemist to assist researchers in the R&D of polymeric materials in a 3M laboratory. Specific
duties include: lab scale polymer preparation, polymer characterization, and application development of the
prepared polymers. Bachelor's Degree in chemistry is required with an emphasis on synthetic and polymer
chemistry. Prior lab research experience is also a plus.

Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
Worker performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research,
development, or quality control of processes and products. Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and
documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is
required. Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection
procedures and/or the product line are required. Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must
be computer literate with good communication and time management skills
