Adecco is looking for a Receptionist in Lafayette, IN. This may be a temporary-to-hire opportunity. As a receptionist, you will answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors and other interested parties regarding setting up appointments, testing and interviews. You will send out testing to qualifies applicants, process payroll and be in direct daily contact with Associates and business clients. Responsibilities for this Receptionist position include but not limited to:

-Operate telphone switchboard to answer, screen or forward calls, providing information, taking messages or scheduling appointments
-Greet office visitors entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations
-Transmit information or documents to customers using computers, mail or fax machine
-File and maintain records
-Provide information about establishment, such as office location, employees within the organization or services provided
-Collect, sort, distribute or prepare mail, messages or courier deliveries
-Perform administrative support to Owner, including all Microsoft Office programs.
-Generate financial documents upon request


-Must have a HS diploma/GED
-Must have at least a year in clerical experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.

We have an opening working Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm

Pay for this position is $11 to $13 an hour. This job has the potential of going full time, long term on our payroll.
