Responsibilities The team’s role is to maximize recovery value of liquidated and recycled goods, maintaining SEA and legal compliance with strict control over MSFT products in the secondary sales market.

1.Responsible for the day to day management of the global parts harvesting, recycling (scrap) and liquidation process across Hardware and Software emanating from Distribution centers as well as the CARE network (returns and exchange) working with the respective stakeholders

2.Manage recycling/parts harvesting partner network on-boarding/optimize partners as necessary to maximize operational efficiency, financial performance, while maintaining legal and environmental compliance and working closely with stakeholders/resources: Procurement, CELA, SEA (environmental compliance), Regional Tax & Trade, Operations (business vetting and sold-to creation), Product Management (engineering parts harvesting requirements)

3.Process improvement: analyze existing processes (day-to-day operations as well as cross-functional/organization) and develop improvements to enhance operational flexibility across internal stakeholders as well as partners

4.Manage the performance of recycling/parts harvesting partners via MBRs and day-to-day management o Enable performance management of partners via power BI o Business reporting: enable stakeholder awareness, alignment, and expectation management

5.Optimize global software destruction capabilities- mix of on-site vs. off-site capabilities

6.Closely partner with rest of the team on opportunities to leverage product for employee programs or charitable giving


•Bachelors or foreign degree equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering or related field of education.

•Min. 4-6 years of experience in supply chain

•Understanding of Supply Chain functions and Project Management

•Expertise in coordinating global cross-functional teams.

•Confidence in championing ideas with finesse and win support

•Performing analytics based performance measurement and improvement

•Experience in working with new processes and being able to scale new processes

•Strong writing skills

•Eagerness to learn new things and take on new responsibilities
