Position Summary:
As an Advanced Care Scripts Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work in a billing operation setting with our Reconciliation Team, supporting the claims follow up, invalids and credit balances. You will work out of AR balance queue processing refunds for part D, commercial and government payers. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients. You will ensure proper reimbursement efforts to patient and insurance plan accounts and work with payers to get any discrepancies resolved.

As a Accounts Receivable Specialist you will:

- Follow up on invalid and credit balances and working with payers to ensure that all claims have been refunded correctly and have been applied to the appropriate accounts.
- You will continually monitor the refund process to ensure that any adjustments and write-offs have been documented and recorded on accounts.
- Directly impact a patient’s life by ensuring all payer payments have been appropriately allocation, helping to alleviate the financial burden to patients.

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of MS Office experience
- 1+ total years of experience in any of the below:
- Billing experience in pharmacy and/or medical coding and billing.
- Payment posting and balancing.
- Medical Claims.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ total years of experience in any of the below:
- Billing experience in pharmacy and/or medical coding and billing.
- Payment posting and balancing.
- Medical Claims.
- Experience using medical /pharmacy billing software.
- Experience in medical terminology, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 codes required.
- Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid, DMERC Oral Anti-Cancer Policy.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using CPR Plus.

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
