DePuy Synthes Trauma is the Trauma business offering a comprehensive portfolio of trauma care solutions for the treatment of the most simple to the most complex trauma injuries using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
The Region Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for the management of the sales organization and the achievement of the annual sales forecast and other related targets within a subset of the Region. This would like be managing annual revenue in the range of $25-30M and may include a sub geography or key IDN or large customer network within a defined Region. This includes primary management and leadership responsibility for a team of 12-18 Sales Consultants, Territory Assistants Associate Sales Representatives, and other business partners who call on accounts within an assigned geographic region. The individual is responsible for the development and execution of a customized Territory Business Plan that is aligned to the organization’s overall business plan. The TSM oversees sales representatives and is responsible for hiring, motivating, coaching, developing, and retaining a diverse team of individuals who are technically competent and who consistently execute the strategies of the business plan. Overall responsibilities include business planning, sales forecasting, performance management, talent development, pricing, contracting, asset management, and strategic account development. Qualifications
The position requires experience in working with sales associates, leading teams, building and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating pricing contracts, business plan development and execution. 3-5 years of business experience and college degree are required. Trauma/CMF Orthopedic experience is heavily preferred. Position requires up to extensive travel within territory as needed.
