The Regional Business Director is responsible for managing device reprocessing sales in the Western Region by motivating and managing a strong sales and service team. The Regional Business Director will need to possess strong performance management skills to deliver results. The job requires that the Regional Business Director conducts multi-day field rides with each sales representative in the region, at a minimum of once per quarter. The Regional Business Director will complete a post field visit letter providing feedback and direction to sales representatives based on results and next steps for success. The Regional Business Director is responsible for hiring and motivating a strong sales team that executes the company strategy. People development skills are required to improve sales results while building a pipeline of future leaders. This position will work in cooperation with the Strategic Accounts Team in developing and maintaining key strategic business relationships in alignment with Health Care Compliance Guidelines and to have a deep understanding of the market and geography to appropriately target business opportunities based on procedure and product segmentations. The Regional Business Director has the responsibility for managing the collection of single use devices in their Region. This is accomplished by managing the Field Service Director who has responsibility for managing the third party relationships with our collection partners.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of sales management experience managing both and independent and/or direct sales organization is preferred. All candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills; valid driver's license; clean driving record. Ability to travel up to 75% is also required. Experience selling products into the following areas: OR, GI and EP are preferred. 3 years’ experience supporting and/or working closely with national account initiatives is preferred. Successful career experience at both large company and start-up preferred. History of strong and consistent performance as a sales representative is required. Experience working with physicians, material managers, nursing directors, hospital departmental managers and hospital executives is strongly preferred. Experience developing and motivating a sales organization is required. The ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment is required.
