Adecco Direct Hire is currently recruiting on behalf of its client for the job of Director of Sales for its Northeast region. In this role, you will lead and direct efforts to win and develop key customer contacts and relationships which will result in achivement of the company's strategic goals and objectives. You will monitor progress through sales reports Retain and expand the Northeast customer base consisting of major food retailers. Leads and directs the effort to penetrate & develop key customer contacts and relationships, resulting in successful achievement of the Company's strategic goals & objectives Monitor progress through sales reports, recommend adjustments and implement strategies to achieve the company's goals. Responsible for brokers within assigned territory and providing support to enable them to achieve the company's sales goals and planned strategies. Possess product and industry knowledge and serve as a technical resource. Travel to and attend local and national trade shows. You will have: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of 10 + years related sales experience. Knowledge of and key account contacts in the retail trade channel, specifically in the dry meat category Already established relationships/contacts with key customers in the specific category Experience in direct sales management and key account management tools (Salesforce, etc.) Excellent communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in Power Point, Excel and capable of clearly communicating business in a presentation format.
