CareMore's New Markets division oversees strategy, operations, and care delivery in our expansion markets in Medicaid (Des Moines, IA and Memphis, TN) and health system partnerships (Atlanta, GA in collaboration with Emory Health System) as well as implementation of new expansion markets.
The General Manager, New Markets opportunity, will serve as business lead for the strategy and execution of our business model in current and future expansion markets, across Medicare, Medicaid, and other collaboration strategies. The General Manager will be directly responsible for market and division performance, including P&L responsibility, as well as leadership support of our market general managers. Functional areas overseen include finance, operations, network / provider relationships, and member growth and retention. The General Manager will be partnered with our Chief Medical Officer, New Markets, in CareMore's dyad leadership structure.

Work location and travel expectations:
New York, New York (Remote). Position requires to travel to support Memphis, TN, Des Moines, IA, Atlanta, GA, and other expansion markets as implemented.
_Essential Duties and Responsibilities_
Guiding leadership teams in each local market within the region to achieve clinical, operational and financial success
Leading provider network collaboration strategies, including guiding provider implementation and partnerships to facilitate gaining support of the CareMore model
Directing local leadership teams to establish, implement and maintain community outreach and resource strategies that establish program acceptance, positive public relations and critical partnerships
Directing local leadership to establish, implement and maintain member/patient retention strategies to ensure that growth and retention goals are met
Leading location business development and innovation efforts that grow CareMore's reach within New Markets
Overseeing all operational activities and resource efficiency within the local markets
Working closely with regional and local market clinical leaders to exceed clinical outcomes goals that live up to CareMore standards
Analyzing financial and operational data to uncover performance issues and leading the execution of improvement opportunities
Analyzing department budget requests and managing both regional and local operating budgets

Education and/or experience: bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; master's degree (MBA or MHA) preferred; over ten years of related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses, registrations: none required.
Other qualifications: at least ten years of experience in the field; demonstration of expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
