The Regional Marketing Senior Manager will join the National field team of 10 Regional Marketing Managers (RMM) responsible for supporting the Myeloma and Leukemia sales forces by increasing the effectiveness of and ensuring compliance for field based marketing initiatives. The Sr. RMM will partner with the RMM Director, Brand Team, Field Sales Team, Sales Operations, Business Analytics and Medical Science Liaison Team to better understand regional and local promotional trends to enhance the execution and impact of key marketing initiatives and opportunities for increasing KOL advocacy. They will need to become subject matter experts and develop long term relationships with OLs in order to influence mindset and public advocacy. The Sr. RMM will be responsible for strategically partnering with OLs and the RMM Director to develop innovative promotional program content that ultimately delivers a "best in class" promotional speaker program. The Sr. RMM will attend, collect, analyze, and present feedback on national and regional symposium meetings, congresses, etc. In addition, the Sr. RMM team members will assist with commercial advisory boards as needed and hold marketing feedback meetings with speakers, KOLs, and other key customers. Cross functional collaboration across the organization, sales teams, and the marketing team will be critical for success.

◦Develop and maintain annual plan for Speakers Bureau member training and engagement.
◦Develop strategies and tactics to drive OL advocacy in their geography and share best practices with the marketing and sales teams.
◦Execute a communication strategy for field based marketing initiatives.
◦Execute quarterly business reviews to RMM Director and marketing team reporting on faculty updates and performance metrics.
◦Understand market and customer needs - identifying marketing national and regional trends, opportunities and threats. Provide input to influence organization's marketing philosophy accordingly.
◦Active surveillance of regional and national meetings such as symposia, network meetings, post ASH reviews, etc. and reporting of content feedback.
◦Collaborate with the RMM team to create and execute the commercial advisory boards to help determine overall product strategy and field based promotional program content
◦.Assist RMM Director and Brand Team in the strategic creation, execution, and maintenance of the Promotional Speakers Bureau Decks.
◦Contribute as a team member with RMM team and Marketing teams to continually refine and execute "best in class" field based promotional programs based on customer feedback and market insight.
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing or Sales experience
OR Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing or Sales experience
OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing or Sales experience
OR Associate's degree and 10 years of Marketing or Sales experience
OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing or Sales experience
AND 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
◦7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
◦GI Oncology sales and/or marketing, and/or medical affairs experience.
◦5+ years of experience in the oncology/hematology marketplace.
◦Experience in the management of OLs and/or GI Marketing experience.
◦Active GI Oncology KOL relationships in current geography.
◦Previous experience in creating and executing KOL advocacy plans preferred.
◦Previous experience in collecting and analyzing KOL insights preferred.
◦Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
◦1:1 Coaching skills experience.
◦Exceptional negotiation, facilitation and decision-making skills.
◦Proven track record of building relationships and collaborating with internal and external customers.
◦High Clinical Aptitude and/or Disease State Knowledge in therapeutic malignant hematology.
◦Ability to capture, record and interpret performance metrics for promotional programs.
◦Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
◦Proficiency in the development and execution of marketing initiatives.
◦Clinical and Technical ability in Promotional and Disease State Slide Deck Refinement.
◦Experience in Oncology.
◦Experience effectively establishing relationships with and influencing OLs.
◦Work experience with hematology therapeutics.
◦Working knowledge of hematology regional and/or national Opinion Leaders.
◦Ability to travel 50-75%, may include overnights and weekends.
