Current Need
We are hiring a Regional Operations Manager to co-lead and support Operations and Sales functions in the Western Region.  The ideal candidate will live near one of our distribution centers. 

Position Description
  • Responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments, distribution center(s), or facility(ies).
  • Review and analyze reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
  • May be responsible for one or more of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/ or shipping of materials or finished goods.
  • May be responsible for ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
  • Give work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. 
  • Monitor and analyze costs and prepares budgets

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • 12+ years operational experience including 10+ years managerial experience
Critical Skills
  • Proficient with MS (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  
  • Excellent communication and Presentation Skills, with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
  • Background and experience with JD Edwards E-1 Distribution Center Software.
  • Project Management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead projects and/or handle large, complex processes. 
  • Comfortable understanding long term strategy and articulating vision while also working in daily tactical duties.
  • Must be able to stand in for any distribution center leader’s absence and provide input and experience with logistics, distribution and budgets.
  • Must be able to travel 70% via air

  • Work Force Analytics
  • Experience with FoxPro
Education
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
