Job Summary: Oversees management personnel responsible for a team of associates who promote and sell Property and Casualty products directly to individual clients.
Functional Responsibilities: Directs Property and Casualty direct sales activities for a territory/product line. Develops business plans and directly manages assigned direct sales management personnel. May identify training needs and develop and/or deliver training programs. Often turns senior management vision into project plan and implementation strategy; ensures integration with other project plans, leverages available technology solutions. Performs need assessments and procures required internal and external resources. Communicates project plans, strategies, priorities, and business benefits. Develops and monitors budgets. Performs other duties as assigned or required
Supervisory Responsibilities: Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.
Typical Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred. 12+ years previous experience successfully selling/servicing related products, with 7+ years previous management experience Property and Casualty Licenses.
