Amtech Elevator Services is searching for a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager for Southern California to provide direct and continuous improvement initiatives and meeting or exceeding the region's business objectives. This position requires the selected candidate to reside within the Southern California area to best support the client group.

Amtech Elevator Services is a group of independent elevator companies operating in Southern California and Houston, Texas, acquired by Otis Elevator Company in 2003.

Although a wholly owned subsidiary of the Otis Elevator Company, our business objective is to be recognized as the premier regional, and more specifically, local elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization company. We offer quality maintenance, repair and modernization services for all types of vertical transportation systems regardless of the original manufacturer. Job Responsibilities:

Manage and support sales initiatives across sub-region which includes branch locations in Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Diego, California.

Establish a strong working relationship with sub-region leadership including branch managers, branch sales managers, functional leaders and sales associates within the organization, with a focus on growing service business, including maintenance and modernization. Additionally, support sales management effort to increase new equipment market share and margin levels.

Identify and share best sales practices for maintenance, modernization and new equipment sales.

Develop and lead sales training initiatives to enhance sales performance of sales team across sub-regional offices.

Leadership oversight of sales trainee program, including recruitment/selection of candidates, coaching and development of trainees in collaboration with branch leadership team.
Preferred candidate will have 5+ years of sales and leadership experience; Sales experience within the elevator industry is required.

Candidates must possess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines.

Candidates must be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.

Candidates must possess strong leadership and team building skills.

Self-motivated individuals who have the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities are a must.

Candidates m ust have strong computer skills.

Education information
BA/BS degree required, supplemented by 5 - 10 years of industry sales/Otis experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
