The Regional Sales Manager is part of our Building Technology and Solutions business with Johnson Controls. This is an existing territory which includes N Carolina, Virginia and Maryland, must live within territory. Will sell our Koch Air Filtration products and equipment throughout the region mainly through Distributors and wholesalers. This is an individual contributor position. Looking for an experienced Sales professional who can continue the exisiting relationships and bring new customers. Filtration experience is highly preferred. Exciting opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Management of existing account base, while actively soliciting new business opportunities in the territory
•Prospect for and acquire new business in all Koch customer markets
•Establish rapport and develop solid relationships with key customer contacts.
•Present training sessions to educate customers and prospective customers about Koch filter products.
•Conduct surveys of filters applications in the field to make appropriate recommendations for improvements
•Meet and exceed sales, price, and margin targets.
•Maintain weekly sales and expense reports.
•Provide management direction and support to local customer service representatives and order entry personnel
within each region.
•Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Management, Engineering or Marketing from an accredited four-year College or University is preferred but not required.
3-5 years sales experience with 2-3 years sales experience in the filtration industry. Will consider candidates with any filtration sales experience. Exposure to HVAC and paint overspray markets is a plus. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point etc .
