We're seeking a Regional Sales Engineer that will grow new and existing business in the agricultural / veterinary space! This is an exciting opportunity to expand the pre-existing business of our of our agricultural plastics clients.
Salary: Very Open! Based strongly on previous experience.
Location: Greater Chicagoland Area (will be based out of home office.)
The most successful candidates will be PASSIONATE about sales AND DEVELOPING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with those in the agricultural niche
STRONG Sales abilities: Must be able to grow new and existing relationships and business with the agriculture, farming, and dairy spaces.
Proven ability to work with a product that has a long sales cycle.
EMPATHETIC AND SOLUTIONS BASED selling is a must: This is not your typical client. The types of customers that you would be dealing with require a lot of trust and relationship building. If you're expecting to make a quick sale, this is not the role for you.
Work in a very autonomous environment: This is a field sales opportunity that will be based out of your home office. There is one other Chicagoland salesman, but no central office... yet.
Previous experience in the agriculture, veterinary, animal feed, dairy, and / or plastics.
Trainable and willing to grow: My client will only hire life-long learners.
