The IV Therapy Coordinator must be able to:
a.) Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to the patient populations served.
b.) Administer pharmacological drugs as ordered; perform procedures and operate equipment necessary for the role.
c.) Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
1. Licensure: State of Tennessee Registered Nurse
2. BLS certification required, CRNI preferred
Education: Graduate of an accredited RN Program, BSN preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years as an RN, 2 years IV therapy experience preferred
*Obtained/maintained within timeframes required by hospital policy
