We are searching for an experienced, full-time night shift (7p-7a) RN for our 6-bed, state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery unit.
The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Nursing Director/Charge Nurse for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community. The position requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associates, along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for the position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Education Requirements: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Level entry training may be a Diploma Program in Nursing, an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Required License/Certification: Florida RN License, American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider Cert., NRP
Required Experience: At least one year of RN experience in the Labor and Deliver setting is preferred.
