Women and Neonatal care incorporates but is not limited to the management of antepartum, labor and delivery, C-Sections, post delivery care of the OB patient, surgical recovery of female surgical procedures (TAH, TVH &
urogynecological), circumcision, care of the well newborn, resuscitation and stabilization of the ill newborn, convalescent care of the small-for-gestational age and premature newborns.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current license in GA.
Current CPR. Successful completion of medication exam according to policy
guidelines. Verbal ability to present information and ideas related to nursing theory and practice. Willing to accept responsibility and accountability to prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care. Area qualification- tions may include: ACLS certification, certification in specialty area, word processing, & computer knowledge. Employees Supervised: LPN, PCA, Unit Clerk, Nurse Tech
