The Pediatric Unit Registered Nurse
The Pediatric Staff RN is responsible for the planning, implementing, and assessing total patient care. Will assume charge nurse responsibilities and assist with coordinating inpatient/outpatient care with other departments.

About this unit:
The Pediatric Unit at Women's & Children's Hospital is 28 bed unit, ratios 5-6:1, 8 week RN orientation. This is a very rewarding unit to work for due to the great teamwork! Also, you really get to put your nursing skills to use with IV starts, tube feeds, catheters, and more.

Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana RN license
Education: Completion of A.D. or B.S.N. nursing program at an accredited school
Experience: Previous pediatric experience preferred
Special Qualifications: CPR for healthcare provider through AHA upon hire, PALS Certification (within six months of employment)
