Additional Information about our PACU Department:
  • Nurses are responsible for the care of post-op patients
  • On average, a nurse will be responsible for 15 cases per day
  • Types of specific surgeries: orthopedics, hernia, gynecology, etc.
  • The department takes on various types of surgeries and tend to all ages of patients

Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program ($5,250/calendar year)

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • Current Registered Nurse License in this state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of one year experience as a critical care nurse in a hospital setting
