We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager to support the Regulatory function to include DEA compliance.
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance to include adherence to DEA regulations regarding controlled substances, State regulations of controlled substances and prescription drugs, internal due diligence policies and in cross-training in all aspects of the Regulatory Compliance department.
- Conduct extensive due diligence on potential & existing customers as defined by SOP
- Communicate with customers, state and federal agencies. Must coordinate with other departments and co-workers to provide excellent customer service
- Research and analyze applicable regulations
Entry level professional. Desired backgrounds may include healthcare, medicare, pharmaceuticals, biologics manufacturing, or clinical research.Critical Skills
- 1+ years experience in a regulatory related area
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook and Excel
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or clinical desired but not required
- Knowledge of controlled substances
- Strong oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate to all organizational levels
- Good decision making capabilities
- Detail oriented
- Prior experience communicating with state and federal agencies
- Ability to Research and analyze applicable regulations
- Work collaboratively with team
