Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Works with ICF customers to provide innovative solutions and support for reliability tools and flows for EM/SH/ESD. Works closely with EDA vendors to drive tool improvements and enhancement to support Intel's process requirements. Correlates third party tools to internal standards and report results with recommendations to close identified gaps. Develops and designs computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems related to EM, thermal analysis or ESD. Assesses architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of reliability capabilities. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval. Provides documentation, training and support for reliability capabilities related to EM/SH/ESD.
Minimum Qualifications: MS in EE, ECE or CE with 4 years' experience, or PhD with 2 years' experience.
At least 2 years of experience and programming proficiency in scripting languages (PERL, TCL, and Python)
At least 2 years of experience with EDA vendor tool/flow development, CAD software
At least 2 years of experience in VLSI design verification
Good understanding of circuit/physical layout designs, SPICE simulations, ESD industry standard models and ESD EDA verification methodologies, ESD concepts/principals at design level, Technology Process and Foundry Design Kits.
Preferred qualification in ESD layout design libraries and Templates, ESD simulations techniques
