This role will receive and processes remittance payments from policyholders and applies to policies, contracts, and/or benefit plans within corporate and legal guidelines. 



  • Advanced level subject matter expert, subject to minimal supervision.
  • Handles extremely complex and/or high dollar amount transactions for the unit and applies them to policies, contracts, and/or benefit plans.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Quality checks, reviews and evaluates work completed by lower level personnel for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviews results with associates and provides coaching tips.
  • Balances, updates and runs scheduled and ad hoc reports for management and customers.
  • Assists with updating departmental procedures manuals and communicates changes to other departments and customers.
  • Recommends approved workflow and departmental procedures.
  • Serves as a point of contact for escalated cases from staff and for interdepartmental inquiries.
  • May handle multi-functional processes.
  • Identifies and notifies team lead or training staff of training issues.
  • Researches and resolves complex reconciliation, banking, billing, collection, or payment methodology problems.
  • Processes remittance transactions as necessary.
  • Provides guidance and quality auditing to lower level personnel.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.



  • High School diploma
  • 5+ years of business experience.
  • 3-4 years of related billing experience. 



  • Bachelor's degree
