Top Three Skills:1. Remote support for any Windows or MAC related issues as it is a mixed environment.
2. They support any technical issues (remotely) and not in-person support. They are responsible for supporting any technical issue that is related to a users station. If the issues is hardware issue or problem with the application, they have to escalate it.
Job Description: This position is with our client for one of their specific IT teams, and provides remote phone support to 15 different organizations/group throughout the client. Often times this team, is referred to as the Virtual Support Team 2, and they are responsible for remotely solving any issue that is specific to a users work station. The core set of issues they will be dealing with include: Outlook troubleshooting, difficulties with printing and difficulties getting attached to the VPN.
Additional Information: Other core issues they see:
1. They troubleshoot odd behavior in web based applications caused by browser compatibility, if they application is working on as expected but they have usage questions.
2. Connection issues for Citrix based applications/virtual desktops.
3. Connection based issues for Citrix based applications and virtual desktops.
4. Mail and wifi connectivity for mobile phones
5. Bitlocker drive encryption troubleshooting
6. Dealing with malware
