*The candidate selected for this role will work the following schedule:
West Coast Territory- 11:00am-7:30pm/M-F
Responsible for order management, inventory/forecast monitoring, reporting, and order strategy execution for non-trade orders. Ensures successful order fulfillment by acting as a liaison between production facilities, demand/supply teams, transportation teams and non-trade customers. Provide direction to Accounts Receivable teams in resolving invoicing issues.
Utilizes SAP system daily to create orders for non-trade customers by analyzing SKU level statistics including: current inventory levels, forecasts, pending order quantities, seasonality of an item, sales history, and promotional events.
Single point of contact for customers. Responsible for receiving phone calls and emails from customers or internal stakeholders and entering into the Inquiry Database. Customer issues and resolutions must be captured and documented correctly. i.e. Expedited Orders, Customer Order Change Requests, Transportation Issues, Dock Cuts, General Product Information and Over, short and damaged process.
Responsible for working with appropriate internal stakeholders in Product Supply System to resolve products shortages and procedural issues to meet our on-time and in-full goal and provide timely resolution to customers.
Reports on non-trade order shortages, daily/weekly/monthly inventory levels. Tracks reoccurring out of stock issues and provides resolution.
Reports monthly customer service scorecard both internally to supply chain management and externally to customers.
Provide ad-hoc reporting (outside of normal reporting) to customers and upper management as it relates to customer service, order volume and open orders.
Understand performance metrics to improve quality, speed, and capabilities to meet or exceed goals.
Provide direction to Accounts Receivable teams in resolving invoicing issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with logistics and supply chain principles. Integrated with internal and external production and/or finished goods planning.
Knowledge of product distribution processes.
Experience in replenishment and inventory management as it relates to product flow. Individual must meet the level of service our customer expects by driving efficient order fulfillment (i.e., ensuring sufficient inventory for the locations servicing non-trade customers).
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable internal processes, and understanding invoice flow from creation to resolution.
Knowledge of supply chain principles to resolve issues with supply and demand.
PREFERRERD EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Individual is required to utilize SAP, Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Access systems to efficiently monitor inventory/forecast levels, promotional events, order history, seasonality of active items, and product sourcing. Individual is expected to improve customer service and order fulfillment while collaborating with internal teams and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
