Our Financial Client in Boston is looking for a Reporting/Business Analyst to implement and support their proprietary financial reporting applications, specifically FundSuite SX and ArcReporting. Position Summary • Provide subject matter technical and customer assistance to clients using the company's proprietary financial reporting, document management, composition, and filing applications. • Participate on project teams for the implementation and configuration of new and existing customers. This includes initial setup, data discovery, data manipulation and mapping, and output design functions in support of client implementation efforts. Projects are typically 3-6 months in duration. • Data mapping and processing (includes understanding and writing of business rules as it relates to client data) • Application configuration - Statement building (ensuring proper flow of data from databases to automated output-ready statements) • Troubleshoot client issues with the systems and work to resolve functionality related issues and escalate technical issues to the appropriate response teams. • Provide day to day support of the systems for the customer and answer questions or assist in resolving data and formatting issues, provide recommendations on new/unique situations pertaining to styles or data, and process more difficult changes/requests. • Testing and trouble-shooting as necessary for application releases and issue resolution. Assist with version upgrades and UAT testing to ensure a seamless product migration. Provide feedback on product functionality enhancements based on interactions with customers • Managing ad-hoc projects both individually and as part of a group (scheduling and leading meetings, maintaining issue logs) • Involvement in requirements definition/documentation for product releases and system upgrades • Prepare general use guides and develop client specific documentation and templates. • Shared learned skills with others and actively participate in on-going development and efficiency of the team/department
