The Center for Computational Health at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join a multi-disciplinary research group focusing on analytics for healthcare, particularly the development and application of advanced machine learning methodologies to a wide range of healthcare and related data, to derive insights for personalized care delivery, accelerated discovery of new interventions, and health decision and behavior support.
The ideal candidate should possess a doctorate in Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer science or other related fields, with a demonstrated track record of developing advanced statistics, machine learning, or data mining techniques to solving real world healthcare problems. The researcher should also have strong programming and system development skills. They must demonstrate a proven publication record and the ability to carry out world-class research
